Hibiscus Ginseng Iced Tea

Hibiscus Ginseng Iced Tea is a refreshing and vibrant beverage that beautifully blends the tartness of hibiscus flowers with the earthy notes of ginseng. This invigorating iced tea not only quenches your thirst but also provides a boost of energy and health benefits.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 tablespoon ginseng root, sliced or powdered
  • 500 ml water
  • Lemon slices
  • Ice cubes

Procedure:

  • In a saucepan, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.
  • Once boiling, add the dried hibiscus flowers and ginseng root to the water.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture steep for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer to remove the hibiscus flowers and ginseng.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  • Pour the chilled tea over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
