Hibiscus Ginseng Iced Tea

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 tablespoon ginseng root, sliced or powdered
- 500 ml water
- Lemon slices
- Ice cubes
Procedure:
- In a saucepan, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, add the dried hibiscus flowers and ginseng root to the water.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture steep for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher using a fine mesh strainer to remove the hibiscus flowers and ginseng.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Pour the chilled tea over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
