The Jamun Smoothie Bowl is a refreshing and vibrant dish that showcases the deep purple hue of Jamun, paired with the creamy texture of Greek yogurt and the natural sweetness of frozen banana. This smoothie bowl offers a perfect balance of flavors, with the tartness of Jamun complementing the smoothness of almond milk and yogurt. For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 60 grams Jamun
- 1 medium banana, frozen and sliced
- 100 ml almond milk
- 100 grams Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 10 grams sliced almonds, sliced
- 10 grams chopped walnuts
Procedure:
- In a blender, combine the deseeded Jamun, frozen banana slices, almond milk, Greek yogurt and chia seeds.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little more milk to reach the desired consistency.
- Pour the smoothie mixture into two bowls.
- Top each bowl with sliced almonds, chopped walnut or add fresh fruits like strawberries, kiwi, or blueberries as additional toppings.
