The Kale Beetroot Smoothie is a nutrient-dense drink that combines the earthy flavors of beetroot with the refreshing taste of kale and the sweetness of banana. It’s a vibrant, energizing smoothie that’s perfect for breakfast or a mid-day snack.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 100 grams kale leaves
- 100 grams peeled and chopped beetroot
- 1 sliced banana (approximately 100 grams)
- 200 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Ice cubes
Procedure:
- In a blender, combine the kale leaves, chopped beetroot, banana, almond milk, chia seeds, lemon juice, and honey.
- If you prefer a chilled smoothie, add a few ice cubes to the blender.
- Blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is smooth and creamy.
