Mint Iced Tea

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 500 ml water
- 2 teaspoons green tea or black tea leaves
- 15-20 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and extra mint leaves for garnish
Procedure:
- Boil the water, then remove from heat. Add the tea leaves (or tea bags) and half of the mint leaves. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes, then strain and allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, stir in lemon juice and the remaining fresh mint leaves.
- Place the tea in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to chill.
- Pour the chilled tea into glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
