Orange Kale Smoothie

The Orange Kale Smoothie combines the zesty freshness of orange with the nutritional powerhouse of kale, complemented by the creaminess of Greek yogurt and banana. This smoothie is both invigorating and nourishing.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 1 large orange
  • 30 grams kale leaves
  • 1/2 banana
  • 120 grams Greek yogurt
  • 120 grams milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)

Procedure:

 

  • Peel and segment the orange, removing any seeds.
  • Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and remove the stems. Peel and slice the banana if using.
  • In a blender, combine the orange segments, kale leaves, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and chia seeds. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
