Pumpkin Seeds Crisp is a crunchy and nutritious snack featuring a blend of seeds and oats seasoned with cumin and paprika. Baked until golden and crispy, this snack offers a satisfying crunch and a burst of flavor, perfect for a healthy treat or a topping for salads and soups.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 15 grams pumpkin seeds
- 10 grams rolled oats
- 5 grams flaxseeds
- 5 grams chia seeds
- 5 grams sesame seeds
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- A pinch of salt
Procedure:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, combine the pumpkin seeds, rolled oats, flaxseeds, chia seeds, and sesame seeds.
- Add olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all the seeds are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning.
- Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula or your fingers to press it down into a thin, even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the mixture is golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
- Let the crisp cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cooled, break it into 2 pieces.
