Ragi Rava Dhokla

The Instant Ragi Rava Dhokla Recipe is a healthy preparation of the traditional sooji dhokla that is made with just semolina and get its flavours and delicious textures from the sesame and mustard seasoning.

Ingredients:
- 30 grams Sooji, fine semolina
- 30 grams ragi flour
- 50 grams curd
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Sunflower Oil
- 1 sprig Curry leaf, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
- ¼ teaspoon Sesame seeds
- 2 sprig Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
- Salt to taste

Method:
- To begin making the Dhokla Recipe, prepare a steamer filled with water and grease the dhokla plates Keep aside.
- Combine the ragi flour, semolina, yogurt and a little salt in a large mixing bowl. Pour in some water at a time to make a thick instant dhokla batter.
- Allow the Dhokla batter to rest for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the baking soda and pour the dhokla batter into the greased dhokla plates.
- Preheat a steamer with water and place the Dhokla for steaming. Steam on high heat for about 10 minutes until a tester inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Once steamed, remove Dhokla from the steamer and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan; add in the mustard seeds, sesame seeds and curry leaves and allow it to crackle.
- Turn off heat and pour the seasoning over the Dhokla Recipe and cut them into squares or diamonds.
- Serve the Instant Ragi Rava Dhokla Recipe along with Green Chutney .
