Roasted Fig and Walnut Yogurt

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams plain Greek yogurt
- 4-6 fresh halved figs
- 30 grams roughly chopped walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Procedure:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the halved figs on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
- Add the chopped walnuts to the baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the figs are tender and the walnuts are slightly toasted. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
- In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt. Adjust the sweetness with honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Once the figs and walnuts are roasted, let them cool slightly.
- Divide the yogurt into two bowls. Top each serving with the roasted figs and walnuts.
- Enjoy immediately as a nutritious snack, or dessert!
