Cucumber Salad

This Cucumber Salad is a light, cooling dish perfect for hot days or as a refreshing side. The crisp cucumber and zesty lemon juice bring out vibrant flavors, while fresh herbs like mint and coriander add an aromatic twist. The optional chaat masala gives it a tangy kick, enhancing the salad’s appeal.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams thinly sliced cucumber
  • 50 grams thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  •  1/4 teaspoon chaat masala for a tangy twist

Procedure:

  • In a bowl, combine the cucumber and red onion slices.
  • Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, then season with salt, black pepper, and chaat masala.
  • Add chopped mint and coriander, toss everything well, and serve immediately for the best freshness.
