Sattu Sharbat

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 60 grams Sattu (roasted chickpea flour)
- 500 ml Water (adjust for desired consistency)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Salt (kala namak)
- 1/2 teaspoon Regular Salt (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves (optional, for garnish)
- 1/2 teaspoon Finely Chopped Green Chilies (optional, for a bit of spice)
Procedure:
- In a large bowl or jug, combine the sattu with water. Stir well to dissolve the sattu completely. You can use a whisk to avoid lumps.
- Add the lemon juice, cumin powder, black salt, and regular salt. Mix well.
- If the drink is too thick, add more water until you reach the desired consistency.
- If using, stir in the chopped fresh coriander leaves and finely chopped green chilies.
- Serve chilled, over ice if desired.
