Caramelized Apple

This caramelized apple recipe is a delightful way to enjoy naturally sweet flavors with a hint of cinnamon warmth. It’s a simple and quick dessert or snack option that satisfies a sweet craving.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium sliced apples
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of sea salt

Procedure:

  1. In a non-stick skillet, melt the coconut oil over medium heat.
  2.  Add the apple slices to the pan and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Add sugar, stirring to coat evenly. Add cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
  4. Sauté for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are golden brown and caramelized.
  5. Serve warm as a dessert topping or enjoy them on their own.
