Air Fried Apple Crisps

These Air Fried Apple Crisps are a healthy and delicious snack made from thinly sliced apples seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg. Crisped to perfection in the air fryer, they make a great alternative to traditional fried snacks.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 2 medium apples (any variety)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Procedure:
- Wash and core the apples. Slice them thinly using a sharp knife.
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice with a small amount of water. Soak the apple slices in the lemon water mixture for about 5 minutes.
- Drain the apple slices and pat them dry with a paper towel. Place them in a bowl and toss with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping to ensure even cooking.
- Air fry the apple slices at 160°C (320°F) for 15-20 minutes. Check halfway through and shake the basket or flip the slices for even crisping.
- Once the apple slices are crispy and golden, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool completely. They will become more crisp as they cool.
