Spicy Egg Masala

Spicy Egg Masala is a delectable and protein-rich Indian dish featuring hard-boiled eggs that are coated with a medley of spices, then baked or air-fried to perfection. These golden eggs are then simmered in a robust and aromatic gravy made from tomatoes and onions, infused with traditional Indian spices. This dish is ideal for a nutritious and hearty meal, perfect to be enjoyed with steamed rice or warm chapattis.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 2 hard boiled eggs
- 1-2 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 70 grams tomato
- 70 grams onion
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon ground pepper
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander for garnishing
- 1 teaspoon mustard oil
Procedure:
- Firstly, take hard boiled eggs and coat them with spices.
- Now, bake/air fry these eggs till golden brown and cut them to half.
- To prepare gravy, heat little oil in pan and add ginger garlic paste.
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté it till golden brown.
- Add tomato puree and the spices as per taste and cook for few more minutes.
- Put eggs in the gravy and garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot along with rice or chapatti.
