Grapefruit Ginger Drink

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 200 ml freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
- 300 ml water
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Procedure:
- In a small saucepan, combine the grated ginger and water. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain the mixture to remove the ginger pieces, allowing the ginger infusion to cool.
- In a jug, combine the grapefruit juice, cooled ginger infusion, sea salt, and honey if using. Stir well to mix all the ingredients.
- Pour the drink over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired, and serve chilled.
