Kokam Sharbat

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 8-10 dried kokum petals
- 500 ml water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black salt
- 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped mint leaves
- Ice cubes
Procedure:
- Soak the kokum petals in 250 ml of water for 1-2 hours to soften them.
- Once soaked, gently mash the kokum petals to release more juice. Strain the mixture, reserving the kokum-infused water.
- In a jug, mix the kokum extract with the remaining 250 ml of water. Add sugar cumin powder, black salt, and stir until the sweetener dissolves completely.
- Pour into glasses over ice cubes, garnish with mint leaves if desired, and serve chilled.
