Refreshing Phalsa Summer Drink

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 150 grams phalsa berries (Indian black currant)
- 1 tablespoon jaggery powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black salt
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh mint leaves
- 500 ml cold water
- Ice cubes (optional)
Procedure:
- Wash the phalsa berries thoroughly. Add them to a bowl and gently mash with the back of a spoon or a masher until pulpy.
- Using a strainer, press the pulp to extract as much juice as possible into a bowl. Discard the seeds and any solids.
- In a jug, mix the phalsa juice with cold water, jaggery powder, black salt, roasted cumin powder, and chopped mint leaves. Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely.
- Pour into glasses over ice cubes for an extra chill, garnish with a few mint leaves, and enjoy this refreshing drink!
