Refreshing Phalsa Summer Drink

Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh phalsa berries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey or jaggery (adjust according to sweetness preference)
- 1/4 teaspoon black salt
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- A handful of ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Water as needed
Instructions:
- Wash the phalsa berries thoroughly and remove any stems or debris.
- In a blender, add the phalsa berries and blend them to a smooth puree.
- Place a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl and pour the phalsa puree into it.
- Use the back of a spoon or a spatula to press the puree through the sieve, extracting the juice while leaving behind the seeds and skins. Discard the leftover solids.
- To the extracted phalsa juice, add lemon juice, honey or jaggery, black salt, and roasted cumin powder.
- Mix well until the sweetener is dissolved.
- Add water to the mixture according to your desired consistency. Start with 1 cup of water and adjust as needed.
- Add the ice cubes to the drink and stir until the drink is chilled.
- Taste the phalsa drink and adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more honey, lemon juice, or water if desired.
- Pour the drink into glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and serve immediately.
