Turmeric Coconut Water with Lemon and Mint

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 400 ml coconut water
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 10 grams fresh turmeric, grated)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 10-15 fresh mint leaves
- A pinch of black pepper
- Ice cubes (optional)
Procedure:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut water and turmeric powder (or fresh grated turmeric). Stir well to ensure the turmeric is fully dissolved.
- Squeeze the lemon juice into the coconut water mixture and stir until combined.
- Gently muddle the fresh mint leaves in the bottom of your serving glasses to release their flavor. If desired, you can also add a few mint leaves to the mixture for additional flavor.
- Pour the turmeric coconut water mixture into the prepared glasses over the muddled mint. Add a pinch of black pepper and stir lightly.
- For a refreshing drink, add ice cubes or chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
