This Tossed Egyptian Salad is a refreshing, vibrant dish that combines the crispness of fresh vegetables with aromatic spices. It’s simple yet packed with Mediterranean flavors, making it a perfect accompaniment to main dishes or a light, satisfying meal on its own. The combination of parsley and mint adds a refreshing twist, while the fresh crunch of radish, cucumber, and lettuce elevates the texture.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 100 grams chopped romaine lettuce
- 50 grams diced cucumber
- 50 grams diced tomatoes
- 30 grams finely sliced red onion
- 30 grams thinly sliced radishes
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Procedure:
- In a large salad bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, radishes, parsley, and mint.
