Waldorf Salad

The Waldorf Salad is a crisp and refreshing dish combining tart apples, sweet grapes, and crunchy lettuce with a creamy yogurt dressing. Enhanced with green onions and chopped walnuts, it offers a delightful mix of textures and flavors. The tangy dressing, made with hung curd and a touch of apple juice, complements the fresh ingredients perfectly.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 100 grams chopped tart apple
- 50 grams halved seedless grapes
- 50 grams chopped lettuce
- 30 grams chopped green onion
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 30 grams hung curd
- 2 chopped walnuts
Procedure:
- Wash and chop the apple into bite-sized pieces, and drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Halve the seedless grapes.
- Chop the lettuce and green onion finely.
- In a small bowl, add the hung curd and lemon juice.
- Whisk the mixture well until smooth and well combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped apple, halved grapes, chopped celery, and green onion.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the salad and toss gently once more.
- Serve the Waldorf Salad immediately. Optionally, you can serve it with a side of additional yoghurt.
