These Healthy Banana Cups are a quick, no-fuss dessert option that combines the natural sweetness of banana with the chewy texture of oats and the nutty goodness of almond butter. Perfect for an on-the-go treat or a healthy dessert, they’re easy to make and even easier to enjoy.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 120 grams mashed ripe banana
- 50 grams rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon raisins (optional)
Procedure:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed banana, rolled oats, almond butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder. Mix until well-combined and sticky.
- Divide the mixture into two portions and press each portion into a small muffin or cupcake mold, creating a small cup shape by pressing down the center.
- Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and raisins in the center of each cup.
- For a no-bake option, refrigerate the cups for at least 30 minutes until firm. For a warm treat, bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove from molds and enjoy as a nutritious dessert.
