Cinnamon-Mint Tea

Cinnamon Mint Tea is a comforting and aromatic beverage that blends the warm, spicy notes of cinnamon with the refreshing essence of mint. This tea is perfect for a relaxing moment, offering a balance of flavors that are both soothing and invigorating. The addition of lemon slices adds a hint of citrus brightness to the tea.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaves or 5-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 slices of fresh lemon

Procedure:

  • In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Once the water reaches a boil, add the cinnamon stick. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the dried mint leaves or fresh mint leaves to the saucepan. Simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
    Remove the saucepan from heat.
  • Remove the cinnamon stick and strain the tea into cups. Add lemon slices if using.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the soothing flavours of cinnamon and mint.
