Quick and Nourishing Breakfast Recipes to Charge your Morning

When we wake up, there is a demand for fuel and energy needed by the body to get through the day. Therefore, breakfasts are an integral meal for the day. A good breakfast can be beneficial all day long, with a good supply of energy. A nutritionist also argues that starting the day without breakfast can lead to an energy deficit, and the body taps into the energy reserves.

A good breakfast can deliver protein, carbohydrates, and fruits or vegetables. Some good suggestions for a healthy and fulfilling breakfast are as follows-

Matcha Chia Pudding with Coconut and dry fruits

The crunchy, delicious, and easy-to-make recipe boosts nutrition and is great for a busy early morning. Matcha is antioxidant-rich, and chia seeds are protein-packed. They act as fuel for the body. Ingredients are chia seeds, vanilla almond milk, matcha powder, shredded coconut, and almonds. Combine chia seeds, coconut milk, and matcha powder in a jar, mix well and seal and leave overnight. In the morning just shake, top with sliced almonds and coconut.

Berry Yoghurt Bowl

The perfect yogurt parfait with a twist. Due to the addition of mint and tangy lemon. The ingredients used for this breakfast recipe are great for the palate. Mint stimulates digestive enzymes. They help convert yogurt into an energy source, and lemon has antioxidants. Mix yogurt, lemon juice and rind, and honey in a bowl and the top are with berries and mint.

Spinach Scrambled Eggs

If you are bored of having the regular egg white omelet and need a healthy twist, you can add flavor to your omelet with spinach. Whisk eggs, salt, and pepper together, and in a non-stick pan, toss some butter and add spinach to it till it wilts as it reduces in size, adds tomatoes and the egg mixture in the middle, stirs the eggs, and add mozzarella cheese as a topping if you prefer. Don’t overcook the eggs. Egg yolks consist of choline which is the building block of the cell membrane. Herbs are rich in Vitamin-c.

Apple pie

This apple pie is made of overnight soaked oats. In a mason jar combine cubed apples, brown sugar, spices, and salt. Cover the jar and microwave for 2 minutes or till the apples are soft, add oats and milk to the jar, stir it and leave it overnight or microwave for two more minutes. You can add pumpkin spices to the recipe and swap brown sugar with maple syrup. Spices have anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor properties.
